Guided hike "Mystical Places and Ancient Legends"
 
Leaving the quaint Eifel village of Abenden along old half-timbered houses. Passing by the meadows of the Rur, we finally come to a junction that leads us into a world of ancient rocks. After a short but challenging ascent, we hike along impressive sandstone cliffs with magnificent views of the Rur Valley. Afterwards, we continue up narrow hiking paths steeply to the legendary Klemensstock with a wonderful 360-degree panoramic view of the Eifel, extending as far as Cologne and the Siebengebirge. From there, we hike back through sleepy valleys to Abenden. During the hike, we experience a journey through geological history. The special charm of this tour lies in the contrasts of the landscape. Rugged rock landscapes and lush meadows, cozy field paths, and almost alpine mountain trails make this tour an experience. The hike requires a good sense of footing. The partially steep ascents demand appropriate physical condition. During the hike, we visit mystical places from the time of the Druids and have small adventures along the way.
