Blenser Panoramarundweg [38]
Heimbach-Blens
Wonderful panoramic views as far as the eye can see
Follow the signs with the number [38] on the 5.5 km "Blenser Panoramarundweg". Blens is a romantic Eifel village nestled between beautiful meadows, pastures and fields on the edge of the wooded hills of the Eifel National Park. You walk across open fields and later through a mixed forest. There you cross the Burbach and then stroll along the Rur for a while. As the name of the circular trail suggests, phenomenal views await you on this hike. So take a rest on one of the many benches and let your gaze wander over the fabulous natural landscape and the sparkling Rur. Fantastic panoramic views of the Jufferley Breidesley and Engelsley red sandstone cliffs await you and, with a bit of luck, you might even spot peregrine falcons and eagle owls in their protected habitat.
If you get hungry, you can stop for a bite to eat in Abenden or Hausen.
