The Düren Christmas market is located in the heart of the city centre. The backdrop between the festively decorated pedestrian zone and the sights of Düren offers a particularly beautiful Christmas feeling every year. The large, decorated and illuminated archways at the entrances to the market will draw visitors' attention to the Christmas market from afar.

The Christmas trees on the market itself will also be decorated with fairy lights, so that the market will shine in an atmospheric light. In addition to Christmas articles, sweet treats and hot mulled wine or cocoa, we are of course also thinking of the younger visitors to the Christmas market! They will certainly be looking forward to the fantastic Christmas market carousel.

The Christmas market will take place on the market square from 21 November to 23 December, while the weekly market will be moved to Kaiserplatz during this time. The market opens daily at 11 am and closes at 10 pm, with the last hour from 9 pm to 10 pm being optional. In addition to the Christmas market, there is also a Christmas funfair with its own attractions.

St Nicholas visits the fair every Saturday at 2.00 pm.

On 22 December there will be a Sunday open for business from 13:00 to 18:00.
