Look forward to a varied circular hike from Hausen - a real highlight for nature lovers and explorers! A special experience is the ascent through an old hollow path that winds its way up from the idyllic Exental valley. This path, carved over centuries by carts and water, impressively shows how intensively this route was once used. Today, the hollow path leads us up to fantastic views of the vast Eifel landscape. We pass an old quarry and look out over the striking Hausen terraces. The hike continues over the heights to a geological feature of the region. We also pass historically significant sites along the way. We take a break at a well-kept rest area with a great view before descending to Hausen. At the end of the hike, a short hiking trail promises some more adventure. From there, we have a beautiful view over the roofs of Hausen's half-timbered houses to the local eagle owl rocks.

Despite a short but steep ascent at the start, the hike is suitable for beginners. Along the way, we take plenty of time to enjoy the beauty of nature - from impressive views of the landscape to the colorful wildflowers along the way.
