St. Anne’s Church is one of Düren’s main attractions. The religious building is best known for the legendary St. Anne relic and was part of the efforts to rebuild Düren after the Second World War. In fact, architect Rudolf Schwarz headed up the ambitious project to redesign and rebuild the church using its own rubble. It is an important meeting place for locals, visitors and pilgrims to this day.
