Obbendorf Castle is a former manor in Hambach and was first mentioned in 893. The castle was built around 1180, making it the oldest knight's seat in the Jülich region. The old shooting ranges, weirs and corridors are a reminder of the old days and offer guests a unique experience. Today, the castle is a peaceful country estate with extensive parkland and a hotel of the same name. The castle rooms, the newly extended modern stables and the romantic castle garden offer space for celebrations and conferences of all kinds.
