Lake Barmen is idyllically situated on the edge of a nature reserve and has a small bathing beach and sunbathing lawn. Here you can cool off and relax away from the hustle and bustle of an outdoor pool. To protect nature, bathing is only permitted at the officially designated bathing areas. Entry is free, entering and bathing is at your own risk, there is no bathing supervision. In the immediate vicinity, between Floßdorf and Broich, the Rur meanders in its natural course. Walking paths around Lake Barmen invite you to discover the charming surroundings.
